We recently made major updates to the Virtual POS and Commerce engine in an effort to ensure continuity between experiences along with providing better control and reporting on payment details.
When viewing an order, we made several updates:
When taking payment on an order, it will prompt the user to pay the balance. Tips, taxes, shipping and service fees are all managed on the order page.
You can now add/edit the tip associated with an order
When using the Virtual POS:
You can apply a discount to the order
You can add a tip to the order
When making changes, the system will update the totals
When taking payment for an FandB or Connected POS order, we will default to the POS payment processor.
