You may want to have a message sent to someone that is triggered by specific actions. This can be done via alerts and notifications. Alerts can be set for internal users such as your staff. Notifications are meant for your members.
What are Alerts and Notifications?
Alerts and notifications are tools that allow you to send messages to specific individuals or groups based on certain actions or events. These can be useful for keeping your team informed and your members engaged.
Setting Up Alerts
To set up an alert, you will need to have access to your website's backend or administrative panel. From there, you can navigate to the "Alerts" section and create a new alert. You will be prompted to specify the trigger for the alert, such as a new order being placed or a specific application being completed.
Alerts can be useful for keeping your team informed about important events or updates, such as new orders or changes to your website.
Setting Up Notifications
Notifications are similar to alerts, but they are meant for your members or customers. These can be used to send important updates or promotions to your members.
To set up a notification, use the CONNECT module to create emails, SMS (if you are integrated with Twilio) or mobile push notifications (if you have a mobile app). Once ready to send, you will select your members or a specific group of members to receive the notification.
Notifications can be a great way to keep your members engaged and informed about your website and business.
Alerts and notifications are powerful tools that can help you communicate with your team and members. By setting up alerts and notifications, you can ensure that important messages are delivered to the right people at the right time. Use these tools to keep your team informed and your members engaged.
