Directory Profiles on the New Member Portal

Directory Cards are now the visual layer of the member portal

Updated over 4 months ago

A directory profile is a customizable, public-facing profile created for members to facilitate engagement and interaction. It allows your team to post content for your members.

Understanding Directory Types

On Peoplevine, Directory Cards control how content is displayed to members across modules like Appointments, Dining, Activities, and more.

Each Directory Card type is designed to serve a specific purpose, depending on whether the card is informational, bookable, form-driven, or action-oriented.

Examples of Directory Cards:

A group of steaks on a cutting board

A person lying on a massage table

Creating and Displaying Directory Cards

To display a Directory Card, it must first be created in the Control Panel and properly assigned to a Category under a Parent Category Group.
This ensures it appears under the correct module on the Member Portal.

Example:
A Spa Directory Card must be assigned to a Subcategory under the Spa Parent Category to show up on the Spa page.
