Co-host an event with an external business

Work with a 3rd party to host events within Peoplevine

Updated over a week ago

It is possible to co-host an event with an external business entity and give them access to view event statistics.

To do this first you need to couple of things:

  1. Create a Business Profile with all required or necessary information.

  2. Create an Event and configure as you need to.

  3. Within Event settings you'll find configuration for "Select Host Company", from there type in Business Profile name that you just created.

Allow Your Partners to Add Events to Your Calendar

In this way, we can provide limited access to the event via the portal. Setup a directory profile and assign a CRM record to access. Now make sure to assign to directory profile on the event.

Then if and when they login at "members.client.domain/account/menu", it will display the event, where they can bring in any necessary changes without have to "login" to back end Control Panel.

You can enable your partners to add events to your calendar by following these steps:

  1. Login to the PeopleVine Control Panel and click on Directory

  2. Find the company you want to assign this access to and click edit

  3. Select the permissions you want to include

Once you save the profile, the user will have access to these permissions on their next login. Once they arrive at the main screen for businesses, they will see the option to add events or you can link them directly to /business/menu/event/create.
